The Blue Mermaid Island Grill is a Caribbean-inspired restaurant and full service food and beverage caterer located in downtown Portsmouth, NH.

Experience Blue Mermaid Island Grill, the most flavorful food you can imagine. Our innovative menu is inspired by the fun and festive foods of the Caribbean. Come in and enjoy our friendly service, eclectic atmosphere and Portsmouth's best margaritas, tropical coolers and unique draft beer selection. We've been serving the Seacoast for over 17 years with the Seacoast’s first wood-burning grill.

We have available on site parking.  As you go down the hill between the Hilton Garden Inn and The Blue Mermaid from High Street, patrons are allowed to park in the first part of the lot which is now gated.  If there is space available and you would like to park in our lot just call 603-427-2583 when you arrive and we will let you in.  (Remember to let your server or host know when you are ready to leave so we can let you out).

We also validate parking for the Hanover Street Parking Garage and there is ample public parking in the lot off Maplewood and Deer St in front of the Residence Inn which is just a short walk away.
